Upgrades at John F. Kennedy Airport’s Terminal 8 are now complete after more than $500 million went into modernizing and expanding the terminal. The multi-million dollar makeover is pumping new life and energy into Terminal 8, along with some New York flavor.
The $125 million commercial transformation, led by ASUR Airports marks the terminal project to be completed as part of the Port Authority’s $19 billion JFK redevelopment program.
“Because of this airport, Queens is truly the front door of the United States, and JFK is the very first impression people from all over the world get of our borough, our city, our state, and our country…” said Queens Borough President Donovan Richards.
The branding and messaging program developed by Applied Design highlights the mix of local favorites, international icons, and hidden gems found at JFK T8. And with so many options available throughout the terminal, there’s always time to discover something new.
